Our 'Ol Ebony, Their New Hana

I just wanted to send you a little update on Hana. We had our first official "family hike" together on Sunday...and it was fun. I think I mentioned it to you on the phone earlier in the week, but I wanted to make sure you got to see the photo.

Everyone is doing well and Hana is such a joy! I believe she is still grieving her loss of you and the pack, but I hope all our work with each other will soon make the transition a successful one. I know it is going to take time to anchor a real bond, and we are all in this for the long haul. ;o)
