Storm Is New To Our Group-Available For Adoption

Storm just arrived on July 3rd and is working in well with the other dogs and is curious and playful.

Gender: female

Weight: will be an average size
Mix/Purebred: most likely pure
Housetrained: working on it
Crate trained: working on it
Heartworm Negative/Positive: negative
Spayed/Neutered: will be July 6, 2012
Micro chipped: July 6, 2012
Good with other dogs: still assessing but seems to play well with others
Good with cats: not tested yet
Good with children: not tested yet

Storm's training skills are lacking, so we will be working on things like leash training, mouthing and sit and stay. She came to us with LOTS of energy but being cooped up in a shelter can do that to a dog. She does not act like she has had much time in a home. We have high hopes for her since she is very smart and just needs to have some time to calm down and acclimate to her new surroundings. That is our assessment of her for the first 24 hrs. we have had her- check back for more updates about how great she is doing and her progress reports.
