We have a young male German Shepherd who has a bit of a mean streak. He seems confused about his position and has bitten me once during correction. He often growls even when the situation is positive. We are lost concerning his possible future with us as a result. We care for him and whish to keep him but we cannot keep an aggresive dog with this behavior pattern.
If you need assistance, please contact gsdrescuectx@att.net. Any trainer, behaviorist would need considerably more information about your dog in order to assist you.
German Shepherd Rescue of Central Texas strives to save German Shepherds and German Shepherd mixes from neglect, abuse, and premature death. We give rescued dogs a chance to have the good life they deserve through rescue, adoption, referrals, and behavior counseling. We do not sell dogs. We adopt intelligent,
sensitive beings into homes where their personalities and potential will be valued.
German Shepherd Rescue of Central Texas is a non-profit organization run by volunteers. Equipment and supplies are purchased using the personal funds of our volunteers, or are donated or purchased using contributions and adoption fees. If you would like to contribute, please read about how you can help.
We are a Tax Exempt Non-Profit 501(c)(3) and our EIN# 90-0483079.
