Separate Lifetimes

I post this with great sadness. Rhea has gone to the Rainbow Bridge. She will be missed mostly by her loving human companion, her sibling Ossa, her housemate Jake, as well as all who knew her.

SEPARATE LIFETIMES

We who choose to surround ourselves

with lives even more temparary than our

own, live withing a fragile circle,

easily and often breached.

Unable to accept its awful gaps,

we would still live no other way.

We cherish memory as the only

certain immortality, never fully

understanding the necessary plan..
