Pet owners tend to count themselves among the biggest fans of apple cider vinegar. Dogs, cats, horses and other pets often will lick their food or water containers down to the last bit of apple cider vinegar, their bodies crave it so much as a natural antibiotic, pest repellant, and nutritional supplement. Start with a low dose, one teaspoon or less for a small pet added to their food or water, maybe a tablespoon full for a large dog. Add the ACV once or twice a day to new food or water. You can increase the dosage a bit as your pet responds positively to the treatment, but a little goes a long way. It’s great for repelling fleas, ticks, and flies as well as for digestive issues and arthritis.
