Adopted Otis Is Doing Well After Hip Surgery!
Otis's first hip dysplasia surgery on his right side was the second week of April. He was healing well and scheduled to have his left side surgery the first of May however I got a call from home that my uncle, who was one of my favorite people on this earth, was hospitalized and deteriorating. So I loaded up the animals and made the twelve hour drive to Tennessee. Otis was GREAT. No drooling, no whining, no yaking on the upholstery. Yay!
I wound up staying in TN for two weeks total. Otis was great the entire time with my parents' FIVE dogs and SIX cats. And these are REAL cats, not just my little house cat. These cats live outside in acres of woods filled with coyotes. They don't just swat and hiss, they latch on and don't let go until they are sure the canine in question gets the point. Needless to say, Otis is a bit more respectful of cats now. :)

Otis did pee on one bully dog's bed THREE TIMES. The dog is old and cranky and was just plain mean to Otis. Well, Otis would find whatever bed the dog slept on last and pee on it. Gross but it cracked us up that he was being so sneaky and passive aggressive. After I returned to Austin, Otis had surgery on his left side.

Murphy Has Something To Say! Imagine A Female With Something To Say
Hi! My name is Murphy, but sometimes my foster mom calls me "Little Monster". I live with my foster family and love having a big brother and sister.
I am puppy through and through with tons of energy that helps my sister and I play all day long. (Between naps of course...) We take walks every night together and my foster mom says that I'm becoming a champ on a leash. I've recently conquered the staircase and try to race my brother and sister to the top every time. I haven't won yet...but I know I'm on my way to becoming a true contender! My foster dad says that I'm a rambunctious bundle of love. I don't know what rambunctious means yet, but I do love having fun and being silly!
I can't wait to meet my forever family and share a wonderful life with them.
